Saturday, May 6th

Calling all GCYAA parents and family members, we need your help in making
the upcoming Opening Day celebration a success! There are a variety of ways you can help.

Here is some of the help we need:
1.Strong men to moving clothing racks in the picture room at Burger Transition Center
on Friday, May 5 at 4pm and again at about 2:30pm on Saturday, May 6.
We need all the racks cleared to the side of the room and then put back as we found them.

We could also use help setting up the gymnasium with the tables, chairs, supplies, etc.
so the room is ready for the next morning.

Both of these jobs should last about an hour or so.

2. People to help where needed during the Pancake Breakfast from 8am - Noon
at Burger Transition Center. There are variety of jobs like collecting the
pancake breakfast fee, keeping supplies stocked, cleaning up, helping to manage
the kids for the face painter (a line handler to get the "order" for what image each child wants), etc.

You can help at these jobs for one hour to several hours!

3. People to help where needed at the Opening Day ceremony from 12 - 2pm.
We need people to help manage the crowds, be a line handler for the face painter, hand out raffle tickets to the players for the Dick's gift certificate giveaways, etc.

Any help anyone can give is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Please call or text Michael Potter Sr at 313-443-3930
or talk to him at the concession stand to volunteer.

From 8:30am - 11:30am, we will have a Face Painter at the Burger Transition Center
and from 12 - 1pm at Moeller Field. This event is FREE! Please join us!
